Leah Briggs is a successful singer/songwriter from Beachport, SA. Starting out age 14, Leah began her journey with her parents and younger sister traveling to many country music festivals entering talent quests and performing as a walk up artist.
Having won many awards along the way Leah’s greatest achievements to date would be a scholarship to the Tamworth Camerata college in 2003, being titled SA champion of champions in 2004.
In 2004 and 2005 Leah made it to the grand finals of the Telstra road to Tamworth and 2008 her original song “million miles” won the APRA song of the year in Adelaide.
Leah has also had the privilege of supporting and working with many well known artists, including Bill Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley, Melinda Shneider, Adam Brand, Daryl Braithwaite, Adam Harvey and Robyn Ludwick from Texas.
In 2015 Leah released her very first EP. Consisting of 6 original tracks, a couple of them co written. Co produced by Bill Chambers and Robyn Ludwick at John Reynalds studios Adelaide featuring some of the best, talented and well known artists in the industry. The EP is titled “SAVE ME”, this is Leah Briggs to the core, raw and sometimes emotional it will take you on a journey of her life past and present.
